The golden rule of the Internet is to find your niche and wedge yourself firmly in it. I’ve studied psychology, and the theory is sound: sticking to one thing is how you become an expert. It’s called the ’10,000-hour rule’. Virtuosity is just dogged dedication. It’s also how you become seen as an expert: people are much more likely to listen to your caterwauling if you’re always caterwauling about the same thing.an

It is a sound theory which I have studiously ignored here. Lucky visitors will find a blog on politics, psychology, journalism, marketing, media and the arts. The terminally bored may also stumble across a portfolio of my photography and design work. Those with more money than sense are invited to buy my prints, and if you are downright reckless you can hire me as an event photographer.

Enjoy.
